I don't think you guys know who you're messing with. I am a former member of an elementary school Chess Club, so you should think twice before you come for me. I did not have rousing success in this endeavor, as I was always paired with my best friend Ryan, who would beat me senselessly nearly every time. I don't know why I thought anything else would happen. I joined the club as a 2nd grader, having never played chess a day in my life. My best friend was an autistic savant boy who wanted to prove he was better than me every chance he could get. Sometimes, he would ask me if I wanted him to let me win, but even at eight years old, I wasn't willing to debase myself like that.
